Maza congratulates the boxing champ for unanimous win over undisputed boxer

Makabayan-Nacionalista senatorial bet Liza Maza congratulates Manny Pacquiao on his unanimous win against previously undisputed boxer Joshua Clottey, in the Filipino “boxing champ’s” first World Boxing Organization welterweight title defense on Sunday (Manila time) at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“Manny Pacquiao once again made us proud to be Filipinos. He deserves the title the Great Filipino boxer for regarding his victory as not his alone but of his country,” Maza said praising Pacquiao's patriotism.

"His climb to success which is based on honesty and perseverance sets the right example for us.
His achievements should inspire us to push forward with our goal of pushing the country towards development, most importantly economic-wise," Maza said.

Pacquiao is a member of the Nacionalista Party under which Maza is running for senator. ###
